Peer to Peer open source file sharing... Piracy? ... Perhaps, in a progressive sense of the word. Excessive and extensive copyrights on essentially all forms of generated media exceedingly inhibits the potential for collective creativity. In the age of the internet, and other unprecedented technologies, we must examine the existing political discourse that allows absurdly restrictive copyrights, which continually result in exorbitant fines on regular people that happen to use a file sharing network, or mix&create on existing music... and reevaluate a copyright system that is more equitable to those entitled, and less regulative of creativity...
